Start with some smooth flat stones.
These came from the shores of Lake Ontario.
Paint them black on all sides...
then paint 3/4 of the tops...
add spots, eyes and antennae, spray with sealer and voila you have little bugs. We learned about insects in kindergarten last week so I painted each student one.
I sometimes think I have rocks in my head.
Those are sooooooo cool!! You got to post a step by step tutorial on those, my kids would love those!
