What time of the year is it?

The calendar says it's springtime and the trees are flowering out.
My house is being taken over by TIME magazine. Cameron wanted a subscription for Christmas and his Aunt Carol got him one. So this magazine comes every week and there are copies of it in every room in the house. I think it reproduces undercover of darkness. I hate to just recycle them so maybe I'll take them to school and leave them in the faculty room like you do when your garden produces more tomatoes and zucchinis than you can use.Oh and the tree that is flowering out; not really, it's snow from our latest snowfall. This tree is in front of the convent around the corner from me, the Sisters of Mercy. When we first moved into our house we would see nuns in full habit going for walks or driving around but haven't seen one in years. They must be in their 80's and 90's. Are young women becoming nuns these days? I can't imagine it's a very popular career.

I bought myself a subscription to Time this year (it was on sale for $19). There's copies of it all over the house. I need to read that article about ethanol. I've been trying to convince people that it's evil.

We're drowning in Time as well. I've decided that I much prefer The Week. The articles are extremely concise, and the magazine is about half as many pages. I CAN actually read it every week.

And, I totally agree with Nobody. Though the comment about ethanol beign evil made me think of "Soylent Green is people!" Imagine: "Ethanol is evil!"
